VINTAGE LINEN SAMPLER CROSS STITCH - WILLIAMSBURG BRUTON PARISH CHURCH This lovely cross stitch Sampler is definitely not new, but I can't tell how old it is exactly. We purchased a whole box from the same old lady. She said she used to stitch all the time , but that was years and years ago. We did find a few stamped 1965. It is fully completed, 14" X 16". It says, " Bruton Parish Church Williamsburg in Va." on the front, and a picture of that church. No rips or tears. Comes from a smoke-free home. Could probably use a washing, as it was in a box with alot of other stitchery supplies for years. It does have a couple of spots that look like rust, almost like it was left on the stitchery ring for a long time. I don't know if this can be washed out or not. This work of art is in wonderful condition other than noted and would be a fantastic display piece. All it needs is stretching and framing!
