I am offering this Lionel #634 Santa Fe NW2 Switcher from the 1960's. It is in Like New condition. No original box or instructions. I obtained this Unit at a Train Collector Estate Auction. It is in Excellent condition. The wheels show very minimal rail marks. It is clean. Even the grease on the gears is still a clean light tan color (see pictures). No apparent cracks, breaks, or missing pieces. I do not have a layout, so I tested this Switcher on a short section of track. It ran well in Forward & Reverse. It has no Neutral. It seemed to stick in the same direction a fair amount; but, improved as I ran it more. New engines usually require a break-in period; so, I think that might be the reason. The headlight works fine, too. There is a light lens on the rear of the cab; but, no evidence that it should illuminate. A light could probably be added easily. This little Santa Fe Switcher should make a fine addition to your layout. NOTE: I will be listing other model train items (other scales too) over the next few weeks, so put me on your Favorite Sellers list by Check out my other listings by I will gladly combine shipping on multiple purchases to save you shipping $$$'s.
