An old L.L. BEAN HUDSON BAY STYLE CAMPING AXE with the original BLADE GUARD. It weighs 2 1/2 pounds, it's 24 inches long and the head is 6 inches long with a 3 3/4 inch blade. Lightly stamped LL BEAN INC. FREEPORT, ME. (see photo). Some damage that needs some attention on the butt end of the handle (see photo). Looking at the first photo, I notice a spot in the crook of the handle that appears to be a big gouge in the wood.....it's not a gouge it's the grain in the wood. The wedge has been pounded in about 3/8 of an inch leaving a gaping hole that's hard on the eyes (see photo). The head is on tight though. Please include $7.00 for S&H. Thank You.
