Vintage Tin - Loose-Wiles Sunshine Biscuits Please read all of our terms before bidding and only bid if you agree with terms as outlined - thanks! This is not something I collect so I really know nothing other than what I see. Any info is welcome! This has plenty of wear, dirt, scratches, dings, scuffs and I guess you'd call it corrosion. You should be able to see it pretty well in the photos. So it has seen better days! It's very pretty though - the sides are a floral design, the top has a floral border with three birds in the center. The bottom is marked Vintage Loose-Wiles Biscuit Company, Bakers of Sunshine Biscuits, Net Weight 3 LBS Address: New York, NY, Made in USA. This has a handle that can be lowered to the side so the lid can be removed. This is about 10 inches across the center and about 3.75 inches tall (not including the handle when raised - that's just the tin itself). Again, its very pretty but not in the best condition! Please only bid if you are OK with this as shown and described! This is is f rom our smoke-free but not pet-free home - no smells or odors. I think that covers it! Thanks for your interest! Just a note about priority shipping versus parcel post - most of you know this - but for those who do not - priority usually takes about 2 to 3 days to arrive - but this is not guaranteed. Parcel post can sometimes take as long as 10 days - generally depending on how far the package is going. Just want to make sure you know what to expect when deciding between the two. Additionally, media can take 2 weeks to arrive - not always - but it can happen! Combined Shipping - higher rates!: With the new postal rates now in effect I just wanted to warn you that, both domestically and internationally, the bigger the package, the more chance that it will jump to a higher shipping mode. So, that said, I will always combine on shipping but it is not always a big saver. One item that can be shipped first class internationally at a lower rate may jump up in price considerably if it is paired with another item in a larger box as it is then required for it to be shipped priority. Similar for domestic shipping - they are now measuring boxes and if they are bigger - the rates increase. So, just an FYI - don't want anyone to be surprised if they decide to combine and the rate jumps a lot! If you have won an auction and intend to bid on other current auctions, by all means, please feel welcome to hold of on paying so that you can combine on shipping should you win the other auction(s). We don't always catch it when someone is still bidding so feel free to let us know! We are happy to wait so that you can save on shipping charges! Shipping (international - outside the USA ): Shipping outside of the USA is usually considerably higher - depending on w, how fast and if you want insurance. We always ship actual international rates - please also keep your country's custom fees and red tape in mind. International packages are marked as merchandise (I know that matters in some countries so, wanted you to be aware) If this is not OK, please do not bid. Apologies but we can not mark the package GIFT. When applicable, we will happily mark it as used dolls or toys if that helps. The calculator below can also give international shipping rates. Also, packages shipped first class can not be insured according to the post office. If you want insurance, chances are you have to pay a higher shipping rate and ship priority. We always recommend insurance but it is up to you as to whether or not you want to pay a higher shipping rate and keep in mind that insurance amounts must match package value.
