This is a wonderful lot of original vintage mixed faceted crystal and glass stones. Most are faceted transparent colored stones. There are a few that are foil backed and a few that are opaque, and a few cabochon type stones. There is a great mix of colors and size. There is more then 3 ounces of stones and I got tired of counting when I hit 170 pieces. So there is really a lot of stones in this group. I am sure that there are a couple of stones that have some chips on them, but there are more then enough good stones to make up for any problems. Most of these stones were made before World War II. So these are quite old and of very good quality. The group that you see in the picture is the actual group of stones that you get. These are a great bargain. In the early days beads were strung on strings and stones were packed in paper, so they may have rubbed against each other and have very very tiny nicks. Some of the foil may have rubbed off the back of some of the stones, but we do try to send you the best possible. I usually throw in an extra stone or bead, just in case there is one that is not quite perfect. We sell old stock that has never been used, but it is never going to look like brand new or imported items.
