BALLERINA MUSIC BOX RARE VINTAGE LOUIS VUITTON REUGE COUPLE DANCING BALLERINA MUSIC BOX AUTOMATON - FRANCE (Reuge danseur , Louis Vuitton model) Circa Approx. 1950s VERY RARE TO FIND ONE OF A KIND DOUBLE DANCERS MODEL ALL ORIGINAL Vintage Dancer Domed Music Box Is Designed And Made By Louis Vuitton. The Music Box Movement Is Made By Swiss Reuge. Wonderful Vintage Louis Vuitton music box. It has a glass dome. The bottom of the glass dome and wooden base are trimmed and decorated in gold, Dresden, paper trim. The wood music box and dome measures approx. 7 " high. The wooden base measures approx. 5 " in diameter. This music box was sold in the toy department of the Louis Vuitton Shop in 1955. The toy department of Louis Vuitton was founded by Mrs. Gaston Vuitton.( Guston-Louis , Vuitton's wife had become personally involved in the founding of the toy department.
