Up for bid is an old railroad sign from the LOUISVILLE AND NASHVILLE Railroad . It is a rigid metal sign from far back in the last century. It looks like an oversized license plate. Measuring 8 1/2" x 22", it is in its original aged condition. From the drips in its old paint, it looks like it was over painted once a long time ago. The sign is in fine condition. Small amount of surface rust and absolutely no rust perforations. This sign is embossed on heavy gauge stock and it was built to endure. Sign is flat with no bending. The original and overpaint coating is maybe red lead or something similar used by the railroad. T is no shotgun or rifle damage. Just a little bird crap. This is a fine old original railroad sign for the avid collector. Give it your attention. BUYER to pay $10.00 for insured Priority shipping through the Post Office. International shipping may vary.
