The doll is fully jointed plastic, can stand and sit. The wig is of patented construction for durability and has beautifully lashed moving eyes. The face has a soft, china-like finish. From head to toe the attention to detail is evidenced in the hand-painted face, individually coiffed wig set, painstakingly trimmed seams and hems. No other manufacturer spends the effort, time, and expense to take such immense pride in their product manufactured in the United States. This doll is from one Madame Alexander Collector. I have purchased her entire collection - many different themes and sizes which I will be listing in the next week. They are in vintage displayed condition. Since they were manufactured in the 80's, some of the eyes may stick at times and some of the elastic that connects the head, arms, and legs are loosing their elasticity - due to this flaw I have listed the doll far below it's value. Please ask any questions before bidding I am not an expert, selling in as pictured and AS IS condition - no returns. These dolls are not recommended for young children.
