Up for auction are these 2 VINTAGE 8" MADAME ALEXANDER-KINS LITTLE WOMEN "MEG" & "MARME" DOLL. These came from an Estate in NH. Measure 8" tall. Features: MEG is STRUNG and BENT KNEE with ALEXANDER embossed on her back. She has light brown hair with a lavender bow, solid molded lashes and pale blue sleep eyes. She is wearing her original tagged outfit featuring a white & lavender cotton dress adorned by a gold brooch with a red rhinestone center and a white laced trimmed pinafore over it. Underneath she wears a half netted and cotton slip and pantaloons with matching lace trim to the pinafore. She also has on white socks and wears black side snap suede shoes. The dress has 2 snaps in the back and the cloth tag that reads: ALEXANDER-KINS "MEG", REG U.S. PAT. OFF, N.Y. U.S.A. MARME is STRUNG AND JOINTED BUT DOES NOT HAVE BENT KNEES and has raised letters that read ALEXon her back. She has dark brown hair solid molded lashes and pale blue sleep eyes. She is wearing her original tagged outfit featuring a maroon cotton dress adorned by a gold brooch with a pearl type center and some lace with an eyelet pinafore over it. Underneath she wears a half netted and cotton slip and pantaloons with matching lace trim. She has on strtch socks with ONLY 1 black side snap suede shoe (ONE IS MISSING).
