VINTAGE MADE IN FRANCE BRASS POCKET COMPASS-NICE! DESCRIPTION is a vintage Working Compass that I believe is brass, or brass plated. The face of the compass has the words "MADE IN FRANCE". T is also the No. 54 on the case cover, with some faint writing by the previous owner stating, "Blue is North". It has a lever on the side that locks the movement, and the lid still locks in place. The glass is in very good condition, approximately 1- 3/4" in diameter. Overall good condition, with usual brass wear on the top and sides due to age.The brass and condition of this compass is better than similar ones I have seen.Cleaning by the new owner may be needed.The darkest areas on the compass in the picture are from the camera, they are actually somewhat lighter than shown.**Shipment via USPS-First Class Mail-$3.00****Priority Mail is available if preferred-$5.00**Please indicate preference upon winning the auction.
