15" long x 9.5" wideThese six (6) vintage guest fingertip towels were purchased in 1949 as part of a bridal trousseau at R.H. STEARNS in Boston and found at an estate in Brookline. Fabric is soft white Irish linen with all Madeira hand appliques of soft yellow linen and hand embroidery in soft yellow cotton floss. Made by BENJ. M. JABARA, Madeira. Remember . . . Emil Marghab once worked with Jabara before he and Vera started their own company. The front edge has fancy hand embroidery while the other three edges are just hand stitched. If these were Marghab, the back edge of these towels would have hand embroidery. These six beauties were NEVER used so a gentle wash in your soap will freshen them up. NO problems at all.PAYPAL within 3 days, please. MAILING is $4 with tracking.Thank you ~ Marsha.
