The game of MAHJONG is well over a thousand years old. This particular game has been called "The game of hundred intelligences". Up for auction and your bidding pleasure is this exceptional vintage Mahjong game consisting of 152 beautifully colored bakelite game pieces. Appears to be complete and is in its original carrying game case that is in vintage condition. Case closures are intact and working. As seen in photo, there is a small green bakelite piece that has fractured off by the brass hardware that holds it in place. However, the green piece is there and can be repaired with an adhesive material. There is a set of dice included along with a dial counter. There is a current "Book of NAHJONG" along with some "Official Standard Hands and Rules" pamphlets from the 40th year "National MAH JONGG League".
