Vintage Majolica Figural - Beautiful and Unusual I personally call this Vintage Majolica Figural Scene "Class Distinction". It is truly a work of fine art and tells a great story. One man stands erect, meticulously dressed and he wears a high hat while a poor "Shoe Shine" individual, tired and cold wears patched old clothing and also has a cap and scarf around his head to keep warm. The latter is eagerly earning his fee for shining the stately man's shoes. The item is rare and colorful and was probably created in Austria. T is an incised mark (probably the maker's mark) but I cannot make it out. The numbers 4415 also appear on the base. Measures: 12 1/4" high and is 5 1/2" wide. Also very heavy for its size. I see no chips, lines or cracks - In excellent condition. Satisfaction Guaranteed. Check held until cleared. Payments with money order or certified check usually shipped next business day.
