Perfect for blinds, upholstery, bags, cushions, or to be used as a long tablecloth.This vintage mangle cloth may be a linen/cotton 50/50 blend. Strong fabric. Beautiful red stripes along the long sides and wonderful greybeige basic colour Mangle cloths were used to protect garments and sheets when being pressed/squeezed through a mangle. They were made to accept a lot of wear and tear, and they get softer with every wash. Often they are found in sets of 3 identical ones - as a set of 3 seemed to be a typical wedding pesent when mangles were still in use...
