Hi, I'm currently listing a number of wrist watches from my collection, so please feel free to view them if you're interested. Please be sure to read carefully before bidding. Questions are always welcome and I will try and respond as soon as possible. ~ Maritime Automatic Wrist Watch ~ This auction is for a vintage mechanical Maritime Automatic wrist watch. The dial is a cream/white colour and hours are marked with Arabic numerals and gold lozenge shaped markers. The watch is working, but would probably benefit from a clean or service. The overall condition is okay for its age, but the dial is damaged. Automatic & manual wind. May benefit from a clean or service. Accurucy is untested over a long period Country of origin: Unknown (probably German) - Model: UnKnown - Gender: Gents, Mens - Watch Movement: Forster (signed with the FB mark), German, 25 jewels Appears to be working fine, but may benefit from a clean or service Power: Automatic, Self Winding, Manual Wind - Jewels: 25 - Calibre: 197 - Crown: Gold in colour, Unsigned, positioned at 3 o'clock Good condition. Undamaged. Sticks out slightly, but works and winds fine Dial Description: The dial is a cream colour & says MARITIME, SPORT, AUTOMATIC, 25 JEWELS, SHOCKPROOF, WATERPROTECTED. 12, 6 & 9 hours are marked with Arabic numerals and other hours are marked with raised gold lozenge shaped makers. There are small black dashes around the minutes/seconds. There is a date window at the 3 o'clock position The dial is in poor condition. The surface is peeling in places Display: Analogue - Watch Hand: Gold coloured Hour, Minute hands (sword shaped with black details) and the central sweeping second hand is also gold The hands are in good condition with no visable discolouration or damage Case Material: Polished silver colour (may be chrome plated) Okay condition. The case has some scratches consistent with daily use and has some wear Crystal: Perspex There are no cracks or deep scratches, but there are some scratches Back Plate Stainless Steel Back, Antimagnetic, Shock Protected, Water Resistant, Plague Okay condition, but there are some scratches Functions: Date Window (with black arabic numerals) Good condition. No manual date change, but changes automatically around 12 Case Dimensions: 33mm (excluding Crown) x 33mm (excluding lugs) x 9mm - Dial Dimensions: 25mm - Strap Material: Brown Leather , DILOY, 18mm, Antialergico The Strap is functional. It is a good quality strap, but a little worn Strap Buckle: Gold in Colour, signed with a H (Hirsch) Okay condition.
