All of the art work there came from just three amazing sources. First - The personal collection of N.C. Wyeth's Granddaughter, (Andrew Wyeth's niece) and listed artist in her own right, Ann Brelsford McCoy, or Anna B. as her family calls her. Second - Art from the personal collection of Irwin & Anita Schorsch, prominent antiques & art collectors, whose items from their Hidden Glen Farms just sold at Sotheby's in January of this year for $10,262,129, (Yes, over 10 million dollars!!). and Third - A large collection from Listed Bucks County Pennsylvania artist Helena Beacham. We ended up with over 2 00 pieces of this amazing art and yes, we are listing them all right here on eBay with just a 99 cent starting bid and no reserve. Executed with an impressionistic hand, the artist depicts a great view of a frozen river with the city skyline filling the background. Signed along the lower right, matted, glazed and framed the artwork measures approx. 18-3/4" by 14-1/4" with a sight size of 11-3/4" by 7-1/4". Not examined outside the frame we found no apparent flaws to the artwork, just light display wear to the frame. The trips would focus on Maine's rocky coast and its many islands. I relocated to Maine in 1984 with my wife Susan and our two daughters Jeannette and Julia. I have shown my work in galleries in New York, California, Florida, North Carolina, and Maine. I was the subject of a feature article in the May, 1995 issue of American Artist Magazine.Currently, I am working on paintings done in and around Cape Elizabeth. I am a contemporary realist painter and draw my inspiration from those places and things close to me.
