Offered for your consideration is a cast iron 2 bulb art deco flush mount ceiling fixture that was made in the 1920`s by Markel. This fixture has been restored by a qualified lampsmith, the photos attest that this restoration is of the highest quality, t were no short cuts taken. Restoration began with disassembly, then it was stripped to bare metal by bead blasting, prepped and sealed with a rust inhibiting primer and then hand painted to a level of detail seldom seen on vintage light fixtures using gold flake, antique marron and two shades of green, even the back has been refinished. For your safety the original porcelain sockets and cloth wiring were replaced with new UL approved sockets and wiring. The restoration was completed with all new hardware, a crossbar and screws are included so its ready for immediate installation by your electrician. The fixture measures 13 inches by 6 inches and the drop is 4 inches from flush with the ceiling to the tip of the tip of the brass deco finial.
