Up for auction is a vintage Markel 2 speed box fan with thermostat control.T is a plastic carring strap in the center of the fan and 4 rubber feet on the bottom of the fan. It has two 12" fans with 3 metal blades on each. Both fan motors have stickers on them which read model R16CW 23 Type R 115V 60 CYC 1.30 Amps R M R Corp. 1550 RPM Elkton, MD. The fan measures 27" long by 14 1/2" tall by 7 3/4" wide and is tan in color. Both fans operate noise free on both the high and low settings.T is a medallion on the fan which has a Big M in the center and Markel written across it and printed in U.S.A. in small letters at the bottom. Thermostat control is marked with numbers 5 thru 11. When I tested fan thermostat control was set at mid range and the fan ran then stopped for a few minutes and then restarted so I assume everything is alright with the controls. T is some paint loss, scratches, and light paint splatter to the surface of the fan.Thanks for looking.
