A pair of Vintage Thorvald Marthinsen Enamel Sterling Silver Demitasse Spoons. Unfortunately, both spoons do have damage to the enamel, please see photographs. Otherwise, structurally the spoons are sound without any dings, pitting, or dents, and no sign of whatever incident caused the damage to the enamel. I love this pattern, it reminds me very much of a typical 40's & 50's design, with vining leaves overlaid in gold wash scrolling their way down the guilloched stem. Colors did photograph accurately, pastel yellow & aqua, spoons are entirely gold washed (vermeil) which is tarnished and has some light wear, but appears to have held up well over the years. Stamped TH Marthinsen, Sterling, Norway on reverse. Spoons measure approximately 3 7/8 of an inch (9.8cm) long, bowl is 3/4 of an inch (2cm) wide, each spoon weighs in at 6 grams. For silverware, I'll be shipping first class for $1.50 for individual pieces. Please understand, flatware in general tends to be fairly heavy, so shipping costs will rise with each additional item.
