I have up for auction a vintage Marx Fort Apache playset. I consider the playset in pretty good condition. The case has a little rust, more on the back side than anyw else. The set consists of: The metal playset case, 24 Indians figures, 28 calvary figures, 17 frontiermen figures, 17 horses, 2 woodpiles, 1 teepee, 2 totum poles, 1 canon, 1 churn, 1 ax in stump, 2 buckets on limbs, a well, 4 log ladders, 1 flag, 4 corner buildings, 1 metal building with porch, 1 fort gate with sign, 7 stockade pieces and 2 corner stockade pieces. I have looked it over and I found the following to be broken: the 2 metal side gates that go on the playset case do not have hinge pins to hold them in place; The metal building is missing 1 door; the porch is incomplete & needs some gluing. The base for the flag to fit in is broken; the Front gate is broken but could be glued; 3 indian figures and 1 horse has broken limbs, 2 pieces of stockage are missing the little pegs used to attach them together. One of the corner stockage buildings is missing a peg, but can be put together as seen in picture but the 4th one is in pieces. I think that is all that is wrong with the set but I am selling it as is. I have posted a lot of pictures so that you can look at it carefully. I bought this at auction so I do not know if it comes from a non smoking home or not. Thank
