Louis Marx Prehistoric PlaysetThe Original 1950's Toy 60 pieces i n the Original Box Return to the 1950's with this Louis Marx original Prehistoric Playset! The set comes in its original box and includes a variety of dinosaurs, cavemen, trees, fronds & the original play base. The original pamphlet is included, too. The original 1950's dinosaurs included are as follows: 1 Sphenacodon (green) 1 Sphenacodon (gray) 2 Dimetrodon (green) 2 Dimetrodon (gray) 1 Cynognathus (green) 1 Cynognathus (gray) 2 Plateosaurus (green) 2 Plateosaurus (gray) 1 Allosaurus (gray) 1 Stegosaurus (gray) 1 Brontosaurus (green) 1 Kronosaurus (gray) 1 Hadrosaurus (gray) 1 Trachodon (gray) 1 Pteranodon (gray) 1 Ankylosaurus (gray) 1 Triceratops (green) 1 Triceratops (gray) 1 Tyrannosaurus (green) ............................ The original Marx dinosaurs are each factory stamped with their name and either a weight or length. The dinos are all in very good overall condition, especially for toys that are over 50 years old. There is an occasional bent tail tip or toe...regular wear for a used 50+ year old toy. ............................ The Neanderthal figures are as follows... 1 standing with boulder overhead (brown) 1 standing with boulder overhead (cream) 1 standing with raised club & dagger (brown) *** 1 standing with raised club & dagger (cream) *** 1 walking with club (cream) 1 crouching with spear (brown) 1 crouching with spear (cream) 1 crouching with raised rock/dagger (brown) 1 crouching with raised rock/dagger (cream) 1 squatting (brown) 1 squatting (cream) ............................ Like the dinosaurs, the Neanderthal figures are in good overall condition for 50+ year old used toys, with the following exception. ***this fellow has some damage, his arms have been amputated at the elbows & he has chew marks. ............................ The trees & plants are as follows... *** 2 short double palm tree bases (brown) *** 1 tall double palm tree base (brown) 1 tall single palm tree base (brown) 3 large palm frond tops (green) fits any palm base 2 small palm frond tops (green) fits any palm base 1 tall tree no leaves (gray) 1 large tree stump (gray) 1 small tree stump (gray) 1 Prickly Pear type cactus (green) 1 Saguaro cactus (green) 5 plant base stands with single hole in center (brown) alternative mobil bases for ferns 1 tiny loose frond (green) The 4 ferns (green) can be used with stands or attached through perferated hole to play base. ***The base is split on one tree.*** ............................ The trees that are included are in good used condition! ............................ The moulded play base is in good overall condition. It is the vacuum form terrain model. There are 4 factory perferations to accomdate ferns. The color of the base looks good. The damage is as follows: Half inch vertical split on the right facing side edge, One inch vertical split on the rear left facing side, Numerous crimps on base edge, Half inch split on right facing front corner. ............................ The box is in good structurally condition overall with the following exception: The built-in handle is torn, but repaired with acid-free tape. The box has some cosmetic issues: Surface scrapes, Creases, Old tape, Paper loss from previous owner removing tape, Water stains, Bottom of box has numerous pencil point sized punctures, One inch slice in box where original mailing label was removed. Original FRAGILE shipping sticker is still on the bottom of the box. ............................ The pamphlet is in good strutural condition. It is lightly soiled Corners are creased Pages have crimping from use & age. ............................ Please examine the detailed photographs and email any questions.
