Up for auction I am offering a beautiful vintage gold compact with a very ornate and intricate thick mother of pearl bird design. The whole front of the compact is covered entirely in this intricately carved design, with the bird (dove) in the middle having a higher relief than the rest of the carvings.. It looks like it is all carved out of one solid piece. The compact is in excellent and never used condition, and it is marked "Mascot London" and also "Made in Great Britain ". The back of the compact has a gold textured finish. It measures 3 inches in diameter and please look at the second compact that I have up for auction which is very similar except with a floral design. I can combine shipment.
