This is an original vintage 1930s travel brochure on the Hawaiian Islands with some information on Fiji, Australia and other destinations published by the Maston Line which also features photos and information on the ocean liners operated by this company. This brochure features a pictorial map with artwork by noted illustrator Vladimir Bobri. Also featured are illustrations on the covers and around the edges of each page which I believe were done by Frank McIntosh. The front cover reads: Matson Line to Hawaii, New Zealand, Australia - S.S. Lurline, S.S. Mariposa, S.S. Monterey, S.S. Mastonia This brochure is a magazine format of 32 pages plus the covers measuring about 8.5" x 11". The first half of the borchure features sepia photos and information on Hawaii and other ports of call on the Matson Lines Pacific Ocean cruises. The second half features photos and information on the Matson Line ocean liners mentioned on the cover including views of the bedroom cabins, staterooms, lounges, Promenade Deck and lots more. This brochure is beautifully illustrated on the covers and around the edges of each page in a classical Art Deco style South Pacific motif with a large double page pictorial map at the center titled Course Of The Matson Line In The South Pacific .
