This Volume 6, Number 1 issue of the "Mattachine Review" from January 1960 features pioneering socio-political news, editorials, essays, etc. -- and offers an interesting glimpse into the pre-Stonewall period of LGBT history. This vintage, digest-size magazine is in very good to good condition; a real collector's item with no missing pages, no writing and virtually no spine wear, but points lost for 1 spot of edge wear in the lower left front cover corner and cover wear that includes faint front/back cover fading , a small tear in the middle front cover right side and a slightly larger tear with missing piece in the upper right front cover corner (see photo below).
