Vintage Maxfield Parrish, Peaceful Valley Greeting Card, Cowen Memphis, Tenn. Album Album Album This is a Maxfield Parrish greeting card from the J.C. Cowen Hearing Service of Memphis 3, Tennessee. Overall, it's about 6x7&1/2 and should be from the 1940's. The name of the print is 'Peaceful Valley. The card has a rough righthand edge with some "chewed" spots on the back, creasing, a surface scrape at the top, and some stain, but it still displays OK. The back is marked 'Brown & Bigelow'. The print portion has a few specks of paint loss at the top upper left edge and a little more just below the top right corner. Also, there are a few surface wrinkles/creases that only show up at certain angles. Overall, it's still in pretty good shape. This had been packed away with other cards/paper, so the colors are bright and rich. Winning bidder pays shipping. I'm listing several of these and will be more than happy to combine into one shipment. I ship pretty fast...usually on Wednesday and Friday. NOTE...I don't ship overseas.
