Greetings Batman, Robin and Mego fans ,For your consideration is a Very nice vintage Mego RARE VHTF T1 Batman with The Penguin and Batmobile lot Both of the figures and the Batmobile are in very good condition for their age - Not mint. Batman has as nice high quality reproduction chest emblem. Everything else you see in this lot is all original vintage Mego. This Batman is a more rare version due to the fact that the shorts are nylon and the belt is the very rare and hard to find translucent belt compared to the solid color more common solid yellow belt that is often seen on most Batman figures. It is hard to tell by looking at the pictures to see that Batman's nylon shorts has a small spot right on the front of the crotch. (use the eBay magnifier to see) Batman's cape has some minor fraying which is typical. I have seen most capes a lot worse shape as far as the fraying goes. The cape does unfortunately have a couple of spots on it that are noticeable. The original vintage boots are damage free. The rare vintage translucent belt has the fastener in tact which is a rarity. The head and face paint are both very good although there is just a slight hint of a factory error on the painting of the face.The Batmobile is missing the original door emblems and the rear emblem. No other reproduction pieces. The car has the typical minor scuffing that all played with Batmobiles have. This one is in really good shape. Their is sticker residue on both doors due to the original decals missing. The pipes have just a minor spot of rubbing. The wheels are amazingly nice and near mint with very minor paint loss which is really rare. The axles are free of rust which is also rare. The tires have some of the typical wear to them as all played with Batmobiles have from being rolled on the floor chasing the bad guys. The steering wheel is present which is usually missing. The car interior is in good shape and tight in the chassis. It looks as if someone had painted the light on top red. There is nothing broken. The joints on the figure are all reasonably tight except for The Penguin has a limp right wrist. (a real simple fix) Other wise there are no other real weak or very floppy body parts. I took the clothing off of each figure and tested each joint to ensure that that the joints are in good condition and work correctly. There is nothing screwed, glued or cracked. No chew marks. There are no hidden surprises here at all. The figures both hold poses very well just as they were intended to do when they were originally made. The Penguin - The face and head paint are in good condition. There is just some slight paint loss around the rim of the hat. There are no rips or holes on any of the clothing. There is a couple of small spots on the back of the black jacket. The main costume has some black color on it that probably wore off from the jacket rubbing against it through the years. This is not seen when the jacket is on because it covers the stain. The original vintage black shoes are in very good condition and free of cracks and splits.Both of the figure costumes have the buttons attached and they all work as they should.
