This art deco men's ring is from the estate of a family friend from Santa Cruz, California. The gentleman traveled extensively. The setting appears to be gold but has no markings. The stone is approximately 11mm x 9mm on the face and about 6mm deep. The stone is yellow/gold in color. A jeweler told me the stone is a smokey quartz. T is some wear to the facets. The diameter of the internal setting is about 19mm so I estimate to ring to be about a size 9. This is a lovely vintage men's ring that is very elegant in its appearance. A very reputable local jeweler told me that the setting is 14K gold and can be sized larger or smaller.
