A rare and vintage 40's to 50's victorain style wire tinsel and blown thin mercury and hand painted glass Christmas or feather tree figural ornament of the baby Jesus in the nativity manger in excellent almost mint condition. There are no chips or cracks even to the neck glass, and 99.5% + of the hand painting remains intact. There is only mild darkening and loss of silvering to the ends where the wire is inserted, which is quite normal in old glass ornaments. This fabulous piece measures 3 1/2" tall including tinsel hanging bail by 4" across from end to end. Add this ultra rare old holiday decoration to your tree this year!
