You are bidding on a Met Mahjong set.Met has a reputation for making the best tile sets. Tiles are butterscotch Bakelite on both sides . There are 36 bams, 36 dots, 36 craks, 16 winds, 12 dragons, 10 flower tiles that are not currently used in the game and 8 jokers (stickers). They total 154 tiles. All in excellent condition.There are 5 plastic racks in very good condition,gentle use. A bakelite marker but no chips.The bakelite varies slightly in color due to the age. When I purchased the set several of the flower tiles had joker stickers.After removing them i noticed two of the tiles seem a little faded,and two of the joker tiles seem a hair higher when laid flat.Considering this set has to be at least 50 yrs. old it is in great shape.Inside of case and tray are excellent.Case exterior ,the leather has deteriated,handle good.Case solid .
