Vintage Metal Oval Picture Frame Convex Bubble Glass You are bidding on this beautiful metal oval picture frame with convex bubble glass. The frame appears to have been made with either brass or tin with a brass coat. On each side of the frame is an ornate scrolling decoration accented with small and large flowers. The picture in the frame is typical of the period and features a man and woman as they pose for the eternity. It does not appear to be an actual photograph. Overall, the frame measures 26-1/4" by 15-1/2" with the actual photograph area measuring 18-3/4" by 12-3/4. The back of the frame is composed of the same material as the frame. Finally, t is a wire already in place for hanging this on a wall for display. The CONDITION of this beautiful frame is VERY GOOD. The frame itself is in fantastic shape with no apparent damage. T is some light tarnishing to the finish. The convex bubble glass is free of any breaks and is original to the frame. See my other listings for more great items!
