Up for sale is a vintage music box made in Switzerland "The Marine's Hymn" with rotating interior images recently found at auction in the suburban Philadelphia PA area. It retains its original label on the back. It is also stamped on the side of the box Switzerland. This box features what appears to be two WW1 soldiers facing back to back with images that include the Statue of Liberty. This round key wind music box is about 3 1/8" diameter and 1 1/4" tall. It is missing its key and we do not know if it runs. Please consider this for parts or repair. Losses to the paint on the edges. The backing appears to be cardboard with one loss, the label is difficult to read. The wheel with the moving images shows loss as well. There is crazing to the top surface.
