Lovely vintage metal deed box (2 available) - industrial/shabby chic. see other listings for matching box (you are bidding on 1) box measures 20 inches 14 inches x 14 inches Versatile addition to the industrial home - a vintage metal trunk/box with original chippy paint. Inside are the original ornate locks which have the makers name (London maker) It is useful storage for magazines, toys, use as a side table. It can also be wall mounted on its side and used as a wall cupboard. Unlike the more common designs of deed box this one has a 'lid' that fits flush into the box - therefore it lends itself perfectly to being a cupboard. But the pair, clean them up, add castors, and use them as bedside tables. Condition is vintage - chipped paint and surface bloom of rust on some sides. Could be stripped and polished or just cleaned up. Collection from Rugby in Warwickshire or UK mainland postage £10. Due to storage constraints we need collection 2 weeks from auction end unless by prior arrangement before bidding.
