Vintage Mexican Tlaquepaque Pottery Plate Quetzal Bird Up for bid is this vintage Mexican folk art Tlaquepaque pottery plate. Hand crafted deep within Mexico about 1940s or earlier. Featuring what I believe to be a quetzal bird native to their country. Deep colbat blue color with light tan background and light blue border. Measures 10 ¾ inches diameter. Condition is very nice however I do note a small chip on back rim. Photo shows this chip enlarged. When displayed, this will not show. Natural surface wear noted for age. Back has raised letters and reads "Mexico". Terms: We accept Paypal, Pay on Pickup or prior arrangements. If you do not have a Paypal account and want to bid on this item please contact us.
