You are looking at a strand of Mikimoto pearls that my father bought my mother in the 50's (or so I have been told). They are graduated but I don't know the MM size of the pearls. I have included pictures with some size references (a dime and yard stick). I hope that helps. Also, when you hold the strand by the end, a gap appears at the clasp (see picture). I don't know if a pearl is missing or the string stretched over the years or maybe it was always like that. T are 94 pearls and one on the clasp. The outside of the box is velvet and is faded with some spots on it. Email me if you have questions. Googluck I have added a better picture of the clasp which shows the "M" in a shell as well as "SIL". It also gives a good close up shot of the pearls. The smallest one measures 1/8th of an inch and the largest one is a hair over 1/4 inch. The necklace is 18 inches long. Hope that helps.
