We are selling a Vintage Miniature Oldham Studio Decorated New England Nautical Sea Chest Hand Made and in MINT CONDITION Scroll & Grape motif and signed # 7-1997 Oldham Studio California on the bottom of the blanket chest. This wood seamans blanket chest measures 2 1/8" wide, 1" tall and 1 1/16" deep and has a real hand painted early american Scroll & Grape decoration painted on the front and sides. It is exact in every detail as an antique Connecticut Sailors Sea Chest was made in the mid 1800's. This is a very hard to find doll house miniature.The interior of the chest has a removable ditty box and another hinged compartment decorated as well.There are 2 handpainted ships painted on the inside lid Exact in every detail the box even has beckets to lift it . You can see the wonderful attention to detail, even the mouldings and hinges are applied in exact detail... A must have for any early american Nautical Meritime room box or doll house application.Oldham studios is one of the best makers of miniature furniture in the country no collection is complete without some fine examples.See the other miniature stuff I have on eBay Double your traffic.
