This listing is for a vintage mining blasting unit. The unit has two metal plates attached, one on each side. One is a diamond shape and says "Dallas Chemicals and Explosives". The other says "Ten-Shot Blasting Unit" with a Department of the Interior Seal below. It goes on to say Fidelity Electric Company and lists some other information. On the top are two brass connection screws and the connection area for use with the key. The key, which has a wooden handle, and a metal plate, with the number 309, have been attached to the unit with metal wire. The leather handle was1 replaced. The unit is approximately 5 3/4" high (9 1/2" with the leather handle up) and 4" wide. On the bottom is the number AP4271. The unit is in worn condition with dents on the bottom. It has not been tested and is sold as found. A great conversation piece!
