Vintage 2 jars of MINTOL VAPOCREAM with original contents, boxes and paper circular. Manufactured by the Home Relief Laboratory, Malden, Mass. Product is for Influenza, grip or pneumonia and a treatment for congestion and Inflammation. Circular also mentions use for Animals- " for domestic Animals and Fowls" and for "colds and croup in fowls" -"rub Mintol over nose holes in beak and make the fowl swallow a piece the size of a bean" ( I am thinking good luck with that) and for "Distemper in Horses and Dogs - Rub Mintol on throat and between jaw bones and apply up the nostrils" (imagine trying to rub this stuff up the nose of a dog with distemper?) Jars - both are white "milk" glass with metal screw caps. One measures 2 3/4" tall 2" diameter.The other jar is 2 " tall 1 3/8" diameter. Both have original labels and contents. No chips, cracks or damage. Both boxes are in excellent condition (smaller box has some age wear ) no tears or rips. Both Circulars are in excellent condition. Please note the yellow stripe on the circular photo is from my scanner and is not on the circular. These items are for collecting/display purposes only. Do not use or ingest.
