SIGNED WHITE GLASS BEADED MIRIAM HASKELL NECKLACE WITH WHITE BEADED EARRINGS The white glass necklace is 18" long with a large white glass "baroque" style bead encased in filigree. I researched this in Miriam Haskell's Jewelry Book by Cathy Gordon & Sheila Pamfiloff so I can try to provide you with accurate information. This has a two sided oval tag on the necklace that Ms Haskell began using in 1951-1952. It is in block capital letters that is stamped into the metal creating a two-sided imprint with the Haskell signature in reverse. During this transition period to this oval plaque, hooks were not signed & her necklaces were only identified with the oval hangtag. Two of the small white beads closest to the pendant hoop is discolored probably from the metal. Other then that-it is in good vintage condition. The triple white glass beaded earrings seem to be dating from around 1965. They are adjustable screwbacks, w the flat part is marked HASKELL, leading to the hinge attached to less narrow wire attached to a round metal end, with a small central raised circle signed MIRIAM HASKELL. These earrings are in excellent vintage condition. Thank you for visiting this auction! Please stop by my NEW2U Boutique also.
