Fantastic screw on earrings signed MMA 1976, which is the Metropolitan Museum of Art. The backs of the screws are marked Sterling, although the finish is gold plated.The dangling medallion is stamped or embossed with an Egyptian figure which I believe is the gold Amun.Those are from a series made especially for the art exhibit, Treasures of Tutankhamen. Many of the pieces from the exhibit were made to look like the originals of ancient Egypt.Great condition - minimal tarnishing. 1 3/8" long.7/16" wide.1/8" thick.
