This is one of the rarer Mobil Oil Pegasus "desk accessories". It is pictured with many other of these "dealer award" pieces on page 215 of "Warman's Gas Station Collectibles," by Mark F. Moran. This piece is VERY heavy colored copper/bronze colored metal. It has none of the damage that is so common on these metal pieces, such as broken tail, wings or front feet. This one is not "new out of the box".....it's got some scuffs and scratches, a couple of small factory casting flaws.....but the calendar is complete and works, and it has not been damaged. Overall, a very nice, unmolested piece. It stands almost 9" tall, and is about 5" wide....it's big. It has green felt on the bottom. For those of you who have not seen one in person.....the calendar is actually covered in a kind of "faux" brown engraved leather. Any questions.....just ask.
