Movie Souvenir Playing Cards by M.J. Moriarty (Silent Film Stars), c. 1916.Manufactured by the Movie Souvenir Card Co. in Cincinnati, Ohio USAThe unsealed box is in excellent shape (Blue outer box and an inner box); Cards are like new in excellent condition – obviously never played with. No stamp.53 Most Prominent Stars in Filmdom, a different filmstar on each card, plus informational card. Charlie Chaplin is featured as the Joker. Cards measure 2.5” x 3.5.” Edges are gold gilt finish. Photo of the famous painting “The Chariot Race” is on the back of each card. Some of the cards are printed with the star's autograph.Photo of Actress Mary Fuller is on the back of the box.Note: Many of these decks have been broken up and sold individually; this is a complete set in excellent condition.
