Welcome! Up for your consideration is a very rare vintage Chicago Northwestern Railroad Thermometer. This thermometer is from the Iowa Division. The paint appears to be all original. The glass thermometer is intact and appears to still work. It can measure the temperature from -70^ up to 120^. Description: Antique RR thermometer. This is a wonderful old collectable. At the top is a wind chill chart. (see pictures) This would make a great addition to your Railroadiana collection. Approximate measurements: The thermometer measures 14" tall and is 4 1/2" wide and 1/2" thick. Markings: Chicago and North Western System, Iowa Division, Think Safety, Made U.S.A. (t is a wind chill chart at the top). Condition: Excellent condition for its age. The glass thermometer is intact. T are some very minor scratches. See description above for further info on the condition. Additional information: Keep in mind that when dealing with any vintage cast item that t may be casting flaws.
