You are bidding on a vintage NASA 16mm silent color film featuring highlights from the Skylab II and III missions. This film is an approximately 10 minute full color silent 16mm film made up of original NASA 16mm color footage highlights taken from the first two manned Skylab missions. The film is in its original metal cannister. We think these silent color films were given to the news media for distribution to television affiliates. The film contains some exceptional color footage including the best we have ever seen showing Pete Conrad and Joe Kerwin suting up for an EVA. The suitup footage is extensive and we have never seen this before. An exceptional find . We have managed to capture various images from the projected film using our digital camera. These still images are shown below as samples of the film's excellent quality. A rare find. If you have the ability to project this film or transfer it to video, this would make an excellent addition to your collection.
