Vintage National Trust Cast Metal Car Badge And Fittings - Unused - Very Good. The pictures tell the main details of this car badge for the National Trust maybe from around the 1960's. Shows signs of age but not of actual use. there are odd spots of tarnishing but in general all is is good condition. In this lot - One cast metal badge (75mm x 70mm) with 2 fixing holes and plain back (Stamped Birmingham Medal Co.). Two grille fixing bars and screws. One chromed T backplate. One chrome split bar fixing bracket. Two screws and nuts. One green painted (head only) screw and nut. Original box with sticker "The Birmingham Medal and Badge Co. Ltd. 95, Albion Street, Birmingham 1. Phone CENtral 1652" My thoughts are that there is at least one painted screw missing which would have been used in the holes in the actual badge. That is about it, maybe the style and / or phone number format may give collectors an idea of its age. My guess is maybe around the 1960's but what do I know?. I do know that although maybe 50+ years of age this badge shows odd signs of its age and handling but does not show much in its condition to give the impression that if it has been used on a vehicle and if so it was minimal as all items are in good, clean, sound condition with nice clean chroming and little signs of screw use.
