Vintage Navajo Sterling Silver Concho Belt by Wilbert Secatero, Native American, 12 Hand Stamped, Domed & Linked Conchos, 153.4 grams or 5.4 ounces. This Native American made linked concho belt is in good condition with some surface scratches. It is signed on the back: Wilbert Secatero, Navajo, Sterling. The hallmark also has a scene of a Navajo man with Shiprock (New Mexico) in the background. This is a heavy solid sterling silver belt made by Secatero who is known for his handcrafted concho belts & buckles. His distinctive conchos are hand stamped & feature traditional Navajo designs. This classic concho belt measures 38" in length, it's composed of 12 oval domed conchos connected by circular links. The belt buckle has a hook fastener on the back & it's the same size as the conchos, 2" x 1 5/8". The belt weighs 153.4 grams or 5.4 ounces. The conchos have crisp & clear hand stamping with a scalloped edge. The nature of this linked concho belt makes it adjustable as the buckle can be hooked onto any of the links to make it a smaller belt with the extra conchos hanging down.
