Vintage needlepoint sampler FISHMARKET Framed Description You are bidding on a hand made needlepoint scene featuring what looks like an island fish market. To the left is a man holding a fish on a scale, in the center a hanging scale with a fish on it and to the left is the backside of a woman bending over. In the foreground are baskets of fish. I believe this was done up to 30-40 years ago by an elderly North Shore Chicago woman. It is framed in a white wood outer frame with an inner gold gilt inner frame. It is stretched and under glass. Condition: The needlepoint is in excellent condition. T are slight nicks in the white outer frame. Measurements: The needlepoint is about 15 1/2 x 13".
