This nice Vintage Neilson's Candy Bar World Map was part of an estate auction. It's a terrific map, a pull-down map with wooden bars at top and bottom, most likely originally used in a school, with bold Neilson's chocolate bar advertisement! The map has a picture of different Neilson's chocolate bars at its four corners: Neilson's Crispy Crunch, Malted Milk, Jersey Milk and Jersey Nut. Across the top it reads: "Neilson's The Best Chocolate Bars in Canada". Along the bottom it reads: "Neilson's Jersey Milk Chocolate, The Best Milk Chocolate Made". I believe that Neilson's incorporated Cadbury, which eventually became a part of Hershey's.?? CONDITION: The map does have some water stains, but as you can see in the PHOTOS, it remains clearly readable. T is some edge wear/tear, particularly at the bottom, which could be taped. (I'd leave that up to the buyer). The wooden bar at the bottom is missing the acorn-shaped tip on one end. MEASUREMENTS: Unrolled and opened up, the map is 54" wide/across, and is about 40" tall. *PLEASE NOTE: Shipping cost depends on your location, and whether you prefer standard Surface Mail, Air Mail, XPRESSPOST, etc. I can only provide an estimated cost in this listing, so please contact me with your location for a confirmed shipping quote and options PRIOR TO BIDDING. (Western states will be a little less as the package would have less distance to travel, while eastern states may be a bit more.) For example... shipping of the map to Washington (state) would be $26.21 USD for Surface Mail, while shipping further to Texas would be $29.53 USD for Surface Mail. ALSO...due to the length of the map, the post office charges an "oversized fee" package charge of about $5.50 USD, which I'll include in a shipping quote. PACKAGE INSURANCE is automatically included by Canada Post, up to the first $100. of value. Beyond that, additional insurance can be purchased at the cost of $1. USD per each additional $100. of value. If you have any questions, (*including cost of shipping to your area), or would like to view more photos, please feel free to e-mail me at . Thank you!
