This vintage newspaper carrier bag is a shoulder-stlye bag that is well used and well loved but still in decent shape. The words "Daily Herald" are on the body of the bag, and they are printed in blue text. Presumably this is the name of the newspaper that the bag belonged to. This canvas bag has a sturdy shoulder strap. The strap is padded, and is canvas on the back side but has flourescent orange material on the front side (presumably for the safety of the newspaper delivery man). This same flourescent material edges the top of the newspaper pouch. This bag has been around a long time, and it isn't perfect: the bag has several slight discolorations on the body of the bag from years of use. These are nothing major, but the buyer should be aware of these imperfections. The shoulder strap is secured by metal rivets on each side; the rivets are silver, but I'm not sure of the metal type. Some of ths rivets have a bit of rust on them, and the canvas right around the rivets is slightly stained from this. Please also note that the back of the shoulder strap has what appears to be a rust stain on it (see closeup picture), and t are several rut-like discolorations on the body of the bag (see other closeup picture).
