Take a look at this lot of three vintage newspapers covering the Lindbergh kidnapping. These are all original from The San Francisco Call Bulletin and are described as follows: March 3 1932. Headline: " Know 2 Lindy Kidnapers arrange baby's return" Articles quotes Lindbergh as saying" I expect the baby back tomorrow" and goes on to relate that Lindy will pay any sum to recover his child. Numerous coverage in this issue and big photo of the child. March 5th 1932. Extra edition, Headline: " Trail Lindy baby, 3 Men in Auto : Grill Ex-Driver". Numerous articles describing police search for baby while Lindy awaits a possible radio reply from the kidnappers. Three photos of Lindy baby in Stroller with Mrs Lindbergh. Sept 24th 1932. Headline: " Hunt Masked Man lindy Saw in Ransom Payoff" article describes the impending trail for Hauptmann and shows a large phot of his wife and child. (This paper has a small 3' tear running lateral down the banner headline) These papers are in very good shape for their age. They are all preserveded in plastic and have been carefully stored away. Generally each edition consists of 26 pages total. All have four small hole punches along the edge, as if it hung on a library rack or placed in a book at one time.
