This nice old tripod came from the same estate w I purchased the Gurley transit that is listed on auction. Item #160055723184. Appears to be made of oak with bronze or brass fittings. Legs have steel toes at bottom ends and original strap.. Very substantial piece in very nice used condition. Bottom wood of legs have darkened. Stands approx. 61 in. tall. Is approx. 3 ½ in. across threads on top. Has a metal screw-on protective cap. Nice early piece.
